Dockweiler Beach Conditions & Surf Report

Dockweiler State Beach is a long, wide stretch of Los Angeles County sand just south of Marina del Rey, unusual for its beachfront fire pits and its position directly beneath the LAX flight path — planes roar low overhead. Less crowded than the marquee LA beaches, it's popular for evening bonfires and open space. The Pacific here is cool with rip currents year-round.
