About Jupiter Beach

Jupiter sits at the north end of Palm Beach County, where Jupiter Inlet meets the Atlantic. Jupiter Beach Park, on the south side of the inlet, has a wide beach, a rock jetty and county lifeguards, with the red Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse in view across the water. Water is warm most of the year and mild in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.

Jupiter Beach FAQ

Are there lifeguards at Jupiter Beach Park?

Yes. Palm Beach County Ocean Rescue guards the swimming area 9am–5:20pm, seven days a week, when a flag is flying from the tower. Stay away from the inlet and jetty, where currents run strong.

Can I bring my dog to the beach in Jupiter?
