Kitty Hawk is a classic Outer Banks town whose name is forever tied to the Wright Brothers' first powered flight nearby in 1903. Today it's a relaxed beach town with a fishing pier and wide Atlantic sand, a gateway to the northern OBX with an easygoing, historic feel.
