Zuma Beach Conditions & Surf Report

Zuma Beach is one of Malibu's largest and most popular beaches, a wide, clean two-mile stretch of sand known for consistent surf and easier access than Malibu's hidden coves. A summer favorite for Angelenos, it offers open ocean, good waves, and plenty of room — with the same cool Pacific water as the rest of the coast. The Pacific here is cold and currents can be strong, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, be ready for cold water, and swim near a lifeguard.
