About Cape Canaveral Beach
Cape Canaveral is the small city at the north end of the Space Coast, just above Cocoa Beach. Its best-known beach is Jetty Park, run by Port Canaveral beside the port's entrance channel, with a fishing pier, campground and lifeguards. It's a popular spot to watch cruise ships sail out and rockets launch from the Cape. Water is warm most of the year and mild in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.
