About Frisco Beach
Frisco is a quiet, natural village near the southern end of Hatteras Island, just past the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Backed by maritime forest and part of the national seashore, it offers wide, undeveloped beaches and a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path OBX feel popular with anglers and families. Gulf Stream influence keeps the water warmer than the latitude suggests: warm in summer (upper 70s to low 80s°F), cool in spring and fall, and cold in winter.
