About Vero Beach

Vero Beach is a relaxed, upscale beach town on the Treasure Coast, in Indian River County. Its city beaches line Ocean Drive, where Humiston Park sits steps from shops and restaurants, with South Beach Park and Jaycee Park nearby. All three have city lifeguards. Water is warm most of the year and mild in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.
