About Neptune Beach

Neptune Beach is the smallest of the Jacksonville Beaches, a short stretch of Duval County coast between Atlantic Beach and Jacksonville Beach. It's a relaxed, walkable beach town centered on Beaches Town Center, and since 2023 it's one of the few Jacksonville-area beaches that welcomes leashed dogs year-round. The water is warm from late spring through fall and cool in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.
