About Alys Beach

Alys Beach is a planned town on Scenic Highway 30A between WaterSound and Rosemary Beach, instantly recognizable for its all-white, Bermuda-inspired architecture. Lifeguards are provided in season through a partnership between the Alys Beach Neighborhood Association and the South Walton Fire District. Gulf water here is bath-warm in summer and cool in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.
