About Inlet Beach

Inlet Beach is the eastern gateway to Scenic Highway 30A, where Walton County meets Bay County at Phillips Inlet, next door to Camp Helen State Park. Its large regional beach access has public parking and a South Walton Fire District lifeguard tower in season. Gulf water here is bath-warm in summer and cool in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.
