About WaterColor Beach
WaterColor is a planned community on Scenic Highway 30A between Seaside and Grayton Beach State Park, wrapped around Western Lake, one of the area's rare coastal dune lakes. The WaterColor Inn sits right on the dunes, and a South Walton Fire District lifeguard tower covers the beach in season. Gulf water here is bath-warm in summer and cool in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.
