About Grayton Beach

Grayton Beach State Park, on Scenic Highway 30A, pairs a wide, natural Gulf beach with tall dunes and Western Lake, one of the rare coastal dune lakes found along this stretch of Florida. Next door, the old village of Grayton Beach keeps a quirky, low-key charm. Gulf water here is bath-warm in summer and cool in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.
