About Dune Allen Beach

Dune Allen is a quiet, mostly residential stretch at the western end of Scenic Highway 30A, just east of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Its regional beach access has parking and a South Walton Fire District lifeguard tower in season, and the sand is the same sugar-white quartz as the rest of 30A. Gulf water here is bath-warm in summer and cool in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.
