About Miramar Beach

Miramar Beach is the busy stretch of Walton County just east of Destin, home to Sandestin and a long run of beachfront condos and rentals. Its public regional beach access has a South Walton Fire District lifeguard tower from March through October. Gulf water here is bath-warm in summer and cool in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.
