About Seagrove Beach

Seagrove Beach is one of the older, more casual communities on Scenic Highway 30A, just east of Seaside, with beach cottages, condos and wooded dunes. A new Seagrove Beach regional beach access opened in 2026 with its own South Walton Fire District lifeguard tower. Gulf water here is bath-warm in summer and cool in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.
