About Navarre Beach

Navarre Beach is a quiet stretch of Santa Rosa Island in Santa Rosa County, between Pensacola Beach and Okaloosa Island. It's known for the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier, one of the longest on the Gulf, and for an easygoing, low-rise feel. County lifeguards watch the beach in season. Gulf water here is bath-warm in summer and cool in winter. Rip currents are Florida’s deadliest beach hazard, so check the safety flag and rip-current risk above, follow posted flags, and swim near a lifeguard.
